Safe Movement Around Your Horse

When grooming the horses, always be mindful of how you move around them to ensure both your safety and the horse’s comfort.


Go Around the Back: When you need to switch sides, always walk around the back of the horse rather than going under their neck. Why Not Under the Neck? The area under the neck is a vulnerable spot for horses. It’s also a blind spot, meaning they can’t see you clearly there, which could make them feel uneasy or startled.


By moving confidently and calmly around the back, you respect the horse’s natural instincts and maintain a safe and comfortable interaction for both of you.
