VTRA offers a range of programs designed to improve personal growth for people of diverse abilities.

Adaptive / Therapeutic Riding

The Adaptive or Therapeutic Riding is a mounted program emphasizing the development of riding skills, client-centered goals, and social interaction. Lessons  are organized according to participants' individual goals. These include Physical Movement and Mobility, Recreational and Social Connections, and Progressive Riding Skills.

Adaptive Driving

The Adaptive Driving program is designed to teach horse-drawn cart-driving skills. Lessons focus on the development of driving skills and are tailored to individual goals.

Stable Management

The Stable Management program is an unmounted program designed to teach about horse care and safety in a barn setting. ​
