Make Sure You’re Seeing the Latest Facebook Posts!

A bit of a techy tip today — bear with me, haha!

If you're part of our Volunteers of Victoria Therapeutic Riding Association private Facebook group (and if you’re on Facebook and haven’t joined yet, I highly recommend it!), you may have noticed that sometimes you don’t see our latest updates. That’s because Facebook automatically shows you posts labeled “Most Relevant” — which isn’t always actually relevant at all!

To fix this:

  • Go to the group page.

  • Look near the top of the feed where it says “Most Relevant”.

  • Click the tiny blue arrow next to that and switch it to “New Posts”.

Unfortunately, Facebook doesn’t save that setting — so you’ll need to do it each time you visit the group. To help with that, I’m now featuring new posts at the top when possible.

Just a reminder that we use the group for things like:

  • Last-minute help requests

  • Volunteer Tip of the Week (every Friday!)

  • Photos, videos, and updates from around the barn

  • And yes — you can post too! It’s a great way to connect with fellow volunteers.

Thanks for sticking through this nerdy little tip — and happy scrolling!
